Menomonee Falls police arrested at 19 year-old man Monday evening after he prompted a police chase. Authorities say the teenager left the scene of an accident and drove off when an officer pulled him over.
The driver, who had three young children in the car, eventually lost control and drove into a fence on the 124th Street exit of Highway 145. According to the Menomonee Falls Patch, he attempted to flee on foot but was soon captured by a K-9 Unit.
Officers found open cans of beer in his car and conducted a field sobriety test, which he failed. He has been charged with OWI with minors in the car, bail jumping, obstructing an officer, and three counts of reckless endangerment.
