Wisconsin semi-SUV collision kills two young girls

A collision on Thursday, December 12, claimed the lives of two young girls. The accident occurred when a semi T-boned a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) south of Prescott in the northwestern region of Wisconsin.

According to Pierce County law enforcement agents, the 12-year-old girl died at the scene of the accident, while the five-year-old died from her injuries at a River Falls hospital. The names of the deceased are being withheld from the public until their family can be notified.

The driver and passengers in the SUV sustained injuries from the accident, but are said to be in stable condition. The inhabitants of the semi did not sustain injuries from the accident.

Road conditions were not reported to be a factor in the collision.
