Female driver critically injured in Ohio semi truck-auto accident

Cailin Blake sustain life-threatening injuries after a truck owned by Amherst, Wisconsin-based trucking company H.O. Wolding and driven by James Hurlbert slammed into the Hyundai Accent she was operating on Wednesday, November 27 at around 8:30 a.m. in Columbus, Ohio.

Blake’s vehicle was stationary at a West Side traffic light when Hurlbert, who failed to yield as he was making a left turn at Hague Avenue and Fisher Road, crashed his truck into the driver’s side of Blake’s car.

Blake was taken to the Mount Carmel West Hospital by emergency medical responders after the incident so she could receive medical attention for her life-threatening head wounds.
