Cornell teenager killed in Eau Claire car crash

Nineteen-year-old Cornell resident Caston Arnold, who was riding in a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Brady Wolfe, was killed in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of North Hastings Way/Business 53 and Melby Street on the north side of the city Friday, August 16 at around 2:30 a.m.

Wolfe was seriously injured due to the accident and was listed as critically injured in a hospital where he and Arnold were rushed after the incident. Arnold died at the hospital Monday, August 19.

According to the police, Wolfe failed to stop at a red light on his way north towards Business 53. As a result, it went under the trailer of a truck heading south on Business 53.
