An explosion in the Milwaukee suburb of Glendale injured six people Saturday, including a police officer and firefighter. Two people, a father and daughter, were inside the house at the time of the blast.
Both were taken to Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital, the father with serious injuries. A passerby and a neighbor suffered minor injuries when they ran into the house to help the family escape. The explosion destroyed the house and its neighboring homes.
One police officer was treated for smoke inhalation, and a firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion. According to CNN, investigators are not sure what caused the explosion.
