Divers have found five more bodies of passengers who were on board the Costa Concordia cruise ship when it crashed into rocks near the Italian coast in January. Two people are still unaccounted for, including an elderly American couple. The identities of the passengers have not been determined at this time.
Nearly 4,200 people were on board the Costa Concordia when it crashed. Francesco Schettino, the ship’s captain, admitted that he caused the accident when he steered too close to shore.
Schettino has been arrested and charged with manslaughter and abandoning his ship before everyone was evacuated. He has been under house arrest since January.
