Airplane crashes into backyard tree

Posted under Stevens Point aviation accident attorneys

Father and young son are in stable condition at the hospital after their small aircraft crashed into a tree. The father was flying the plane when he was forced to make an emergency landing. Unable to make it to the nearby airport, he was forced to land in a residential neighborhood.

Emergency responders are describing the crash as “amazing,” since the two on board sustained only minimal injuries. The house suffered only minor damage. Police claim the passengers are lucky they did not crash into a home and that the plane did not catch on fire on impact.

The National Transportation Safety Board will conduct an investigation into the cause of the crash.
