Stevens Point man injured in two-vehicle crash

A 27-year-old Stevens Point man was struck by a dump truck on Highway B at 8:56 AM Monday in the town of Stockton, according to the Portage County Sheriff's Department.
The man's delivery truck was headed westbound on Highway B and was turning into a private drive when it was struck by the dump truck, which was also headed west. The 27-year-old man was thrown from his Spee-Dee delivery truck and rushed to Wausau hospital by MedEvac.
The dump truck driver did not complain of any injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and police do not believe that drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.

NASCAR team owner out of hospital after involved in plane crash

NASCAR team owner, Jack Roush, was involved in a plane crash in Wisconsin two weeks ago, but he has now been released from the hospital after being treated for facial injuries.
The man was attending an air show in OshKosh, Wis. when he lost control of the plane while attempting to land. He and the passenger in the plane were able to walk away after and his passenger was released from the hospital the following day. This is the second aviation accident that Roush has been involved in.
