The Columbia County Sheriff's Office reports that one person was killed and several more injured due to an accident on Lake Wisconsin. Officials say that the accident involved a jet ski and a boat colliding; however, they do not have reason to believe that drugs or alcohol played a part in the accident.

The wreck occurred on Sunday evening, just before 8:00 pm. Survivors were transported to local hospitals, one via UW Medflight. The names and medical conditions of survivors have not been released to the public; however, the fatality was reportedly a passenger on the boat. County officias continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
