9-Year-Old Dies in Snowboarding Accident

A 9-year-old Wisconsin boy was killed over the weekend when he snowboarded in front of an oncoming van.

According to authorities, the boy was staying with his grandparents in Jackson County, near Taylor.  He began snowboarding in the area, and skidded onto County Trunk "P" in front of a van being driven by a 19-year-old local man.

The driver stopped and answered questions.  The boy was taken by life flight to Eau Claire Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Ski Lift Accident Injures 14

A ski lift accident recently resulted in 14 individuals being injured.  The accident took place at a Wisconsin ski resort. 

It is not known what caused the accident to take place,  but the ski lift started to send riders backwards and down the lift.  A pile-up occurred at the bottom of the lift, and many individuals suffered from injuries as they attempted to jump off the lift. 

The accident is under investigation to determine what caused the lift to fail.

Mother and Son Injured in Snowmobile Accident

A mother and her 4 year-old son were recently injured in an accident in which the mother drove the snowmobile into a parked car. 

The accident took place around 9:30 p.m. Sunday evening.  According to reports,  the throttle to the vehicle got stuck, causing the woman to lose control of the vehicle before hitting the parked car.  

The woman suffered leg and facial injuries and her son was said to have suffered from head injuries. The two were rushed to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.  The accident is currently under investigation.

Man Injured in Hunting Accident

A man has been injured in a hunting accident recently.  According to reports,  the man was out hunting with a friend.  While searching for a deer that what shot,  the man had laid his gun down against a tree.

The gun began to fall and the man reached for it.  At this point,  the gun fired and shot the man in his thumb.  The man was rushed to a hospital to be treated for his injuries.

With the hunting season currently going on,  it is important for individuals to take all the necessary precautions to provide protection from an accident.

Teen Killed in Accident From Head Injuries

A teenager has recently died in an accident in Wisconsin after falling or jumping out of the back of a moving pickup truck.

The young 15 year-old-girl was killed in the accident after she suffered from serious head injuries. For some reason,  the girl fell from the truck and struck her head hard on the ground,  causing fatal injuries.

The young girl was rushed to a hospital for treatment.  The girl was then airlifted to another hospital to be treated,  however the girl would soon die from her injuries.
