Recall on Harry Potter Bookends

Posted under Uncategorized

Approximately 36,000 bookends shaped like characters from the Harry Potter series were voluntarily recalled today. The reason cited was unsafe amounts of lead in the paint, violating federal lead paint standards.

These bookends were sold between June 2004 and January 2006 at elementary school fund raisers, dollar stores, and other discount stores. They should be immediately returned to Giftco Inc. for a full refund.

Product recalls can sometimes come too late. This dangerous product has been around for over four years. If you or anyone you know has been injured by this or a similar product, please contact the Stevens Point defective products lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® at  800-248-0171.
