Slip and fall leads to lawsuit

Posted under Uncategorized

Betty Ann Green has filed a personal injury lawsuit againt the DMV office in the Kanawha Mall. She sustained injuries after falling on a section of raised carpet near the front desk. According to Green, the carpet was raised due to another object that had slid underneath the carpet.

She claims that the raised carpet was a hazard to anyone who entered the office and was not visible. Green’s face and left eye were the most injured, although she suffered injuries all over her body. Green claims that the DMV office was negligent and allowed the raised carpet to go unfixed.

She is seeking damages for medical expenses, pain and suffering, and mental anguish.
