Collapsed Bridge Injury Case Settled

Posted on Monday, January 28th, 2008 at 2:01 am

William Huffman, of Salem, OH, recently reached a settlement in his lawsuit against the county over injuries he received in August of 2004. Huffman claimed he was seriously injured when his car crashed into the remains of a collapsed bridge near his home. His suit argues that the bridge, which had been washed out that night by a flash flood, should have been blocked off by county officials to prevent motorists from mistakenly driving onto it.

The terms of the settlement are being kept confidential at this time.
